We feel this is a more meaningful measurement than measuring button to button or at the extreme front of the saddle.

In our humble opinion, this dressage saddle is brilliantly designed.  It’s unique feature is that the panels are not connected to the saddle flaps, thus OFFERING THE HORSE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF MANOEVERABILITY OF THE SHOULDERS.  It then has a full flap protecting the horse from the billets and then has the top saddle flap.  EVEN SO, THESE LAYERS STILL OFFER CLOSE CONTACT WITH THE RIDER’S LEG!  Of course it is wool flocked, offering a wide gullet and deep seat for the rider.  Short panels behind so that short-backed horses will not feel compromised.  Beautifully accented with crocodile leather as shown.
