Saddle Trial Process

At Good Apple Equine we want both you and your horse to be happy with your purchase. This is why we allow the saddle to be taken out on a trial basis prior to purchase. 

How does it work?

Order your saddle online using the Try Before You Buy button. When you checkout, you will only be charged for shipping, but a hold will be placed on your card for the price of the saddle. Shipping costs are dependent on your location and start at $55 for English Saddles and $70 for Western saddles.

After you receive the saddle, you have 5 days to test ride it and make sure it fits you and your horse.

Do I have to order online?

Yes, the best way to order a saddle for trial is online. This allows the hold to be placed on your card and all the shipping information to be input by you. The Shopify system maintains the hold for the duration of the trial and we don't have your credit card details at the store.

Can I try more than 1?

Yes, if there are 2 saddles you'd like to try, we might be able to combine them in a single box and save some shipping costs. Please call us to discuss prior to ordering.

If ordering online, you are limited to 2 trial items at a time.

What if I need more time?

We understand schedules can change or you may need your trainer or saddle fitter to view you in the saddle. Give us a call at (352) 789-6544 at the end of your 5 days and let us know what's going on and we can discuss additional time.

I love it! How do I buy it?

If everything fits great and you wish to purchase the saddle, please call us at (352) 789-6544 and we can easily process your order. It's as simple as converting the hold to an actual charge. Stay in touch if you need another saddle or assistance selling your existing one, we're always happy to help!

The saddle doesn't fit me or my horse very well, what's next?

If the saddle doesn't work for you, please box it up for return shipping to us. By clicking on the Returns link in your Tryon email, you can purchase a return shipping label, or you can ship it back on your own.

If you're returning the saddle, please call us at (352) 789-6544 or email GoodAppleConsignment@gmail.com so we know it's coming back.

Once the saddle is back at the store in the same condition it left, the hold on your card will be removed. We don't charge any restocking fees.
