How to Consign
Consigning products with Good Apple Equine is easy.
What do we take?
We take almost any item related to horses: saddles, girths, bridles, saddle pads, blankets, leg wraps, halters, lead ropes, saddle bags and bits.
Of course, there's stuff for the rider as well: boots, breeches, shirts, jackets, hats, gloves, stock ties, jewelry and purses.
If it's a horse related household item, we can take that too: books, knick knacks, paintings, Breyer horses, statues and more.
What don't we take?
There are some items that we cannot take in such as helmets, broken or dry rotted tack, items with excessive wear or pilling, items with stains or tears or items that are outdated or no longer in style.
We do not take in open bottles/packages of sprays, ointments or supplements, nor do we take brushes or other used items that could lead to cross contamination.
Saddles must be less than 10 years old and be in good working order with no rips or tears.
Please ensure that all items are clean to avoid cleaning fees.
How does it work?
Each consignor is assigned an account number and all items are logged into their account. We research all items to find the fair market value price to put on them. Items automatically discount based on the length of time they are here.
How do I get paid?
Consignors are asked to send a text to (352) 389-5566 between the 1st and the 5th of each month. We can let you know how much money is in your account and you determine if you want a check that month or let it roll over and build. Requested payments are sent monthly for items sold the prior month(s).
Your store credit is available immediately and can be used for in-store purchases at any time.
Do I need an Appointment?
Yes - All of our inventory comes in by appointment. Currently, we are limiting each appointment to a maximum of 20 items. All items MUST be clean, in good working order and free from rips, tears or other damage. Items not meeting this criteria will be rejected or donated to a local therapeutic riding school.

Is Saddle consignment different?
Yes, if you would like to consign a saddle with us, please click here to fill out the saddle questionnaire. Once we have the information about and photos of your saddle, our staff will review it to make sure it's something we have a market for and will contact you to make an appointment. Please allow 1-2 weeks for a response.
Please make sure your items are clean.
Please ensure that all items are clean before bringing them into the store. Items not clean will be charged a cleaning fee.
Please Note: After cleaning leather tack, don't seal it in plastic bag(s) as this encourages mold.
