This is a very unusual model of Pariani jumping saddle as it features cut-outs in the saddle flap to allow the blocks to show through. We cannot find details of this particular model on line, and may be a proto-type design.

TREE
The spring tree is made essentially of wood and developed by Pariani. It absorbs and spreads on all its surface any pressure made on the seat and, flexing as on longitudinal as on latitudinal direction, follows perfectly each single movement of horse’s back in order to preserve its muscles from any pain or pressures on single points.

PANELS
Panels are pre-molded and made with expanded polyurethane. Panels’ shape allows support under the knee and a smaller surface under the thigh in order to allow a closer contact. (Note: we assume this is the case with this particular saddle, which is of age, but the Pariani workshop have specified this material for their current saddles).

Thanks to the great experience of skilled master saddlers, Pariani has always created its saddles piece by piece in its workshop in Milan, Italy since 1903.
