About this saddle

In extremely good gently used condition, this is an immaculate Mac Rider Challenge dressage saddle with a 17.5ins seat and a narrow width fitting, which we measured to be 4ins.  The saddle flaps are shorter than regular, at 15ins.  Made in 2018.  Wool flocked.  Width can be adjusted by a Mac Rider approved saddler.  Features beautiful patent leather accents with a double row of crystals, as shown.

“This model will suit many riders, and Mac Rider states that this saddle would support the amateur as well with the professional rider. This model provides the rider to sit on the right spot in the middle of the saddle.  It’s a half deep seat but sometimes it could give you the feeling you are really deep in the saddle.  The panel cushions are really short so it will fit a good majority of horses with a short back.”

*All measurements provided have either been taken directly from saddle stamps, or are approximate measurements taken by experienced Good Apple Equine Consignment staff.  This information is provided as a courtesy to our customers, and is not a guarantee of size or fit as each individual saddle differs from the next (including those of the same brand and model).

Saddle Width Measurement:  Please note we measure 3-4 ins down from the center of the pommel and in, to where we can see the horse would start to make contact with the panels. We feel this is a more meaningful measurement than measuring button to button or at the extreme front of the saddle.
