Herm Sprenger KK Double Bridle Set: Ported Weymouth (5.25ins) Oval Mouth Double Jointed Bradoon (5.5ins) Ref: 4266-4

In good used condition, this is a nice set of Herm Sprenger double bridle bits.  The Weymouth is completely made of Aurigan metal* and the bradoon has stainless steel rings with Aurigan metal mouthpiece.  The bradoon is marked KK Ultra.  Some signs of light chewing on the Weymouth bit.  Lower shank length from the center of the bit is 3.5ins.

Aurigan is a copper alloy made of 85% copper, 4% silicon, and 11% zinc. … One advantage it has over other copper alloys such as German silver is that it is nickel-free; some horses have been known to have a nickel allergy which appears as pimples in the mouth.
