What Do We Do?
Good Apple Equine Consignment Warehouse LLC is a great two way street— where you can confidently buy and sell any manner of good quality equine related goods, all under one roof! We are proud to offer an excellent physical store as well as a comprehensive online ‘virtual’ shop. Both sites are full-to-bursting with beautiful English and Western saddles, bridles, tack, horse gear of all descriptions and rider wear suitable for all disciplines and sizes. Our inventory is changing every day, so you don’t see the same ol’ things sitting here, day in and day out. Prices are also often negotiable*!
Monday – Friday: 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm
We have more than 4,000 consignors, who buy and sell with us on a regular basis. People are confident to bring us their precious saddles and tack, because they know we will take very good care of them, and we will obtain the fairest and most reasonable prices. If items do not sell, consignors are under no financial obligation after the 90 day contract.
We are currently a small but ‘perfectly formed’ team headed up by British born and bred Georgia Hattan-Bennett (Owner), assisted by her mom, Debbie Hattan, (who is a qualified British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor and qualified business management and marketing professional), and Valerie Stalvey, who has a lifetime’s experience with horses, and is also highly qualified in business management and marketing. She is also thankfully very computer-literate. Our staff are all very friendly, professional and knowledgeable horse—people with considerable expertise in many types of horsemanship and saddlery.

Meet The Good Apple Equine Family
Good Apple Equine Consignment Warehouse LLC was launched in 2009 by Georgia Hattan-Bennett, a savvy and sassy Brit who had come to the USA after working with Paso Finos and meeting her husband in Montana. They moved to Florida and very quickly Georgia saw a need in Ocala for an equine consignment store. She started with just a few items of her daughter’s and now the store has rapidly grown to carrying a very impressive range of English and Western saddles, tack, bits, horse and rider clothing, leatherwork, equine artwork, books, – in fact, anything virtually you can think of relating to horses.
Georgia’s equine background is that she has her British Horse Society Assistant Instructor’s qualification (BHSAI), and has worked in the UK and abroad with horses, particularly with Dutch Olympic rider, Anky Van Grunsven. She even took her mom’s Warmblood horse Thumper with her to Holland to Anky’s yard. She is a very competent rider and has owned horses or worked with horses most of her life. She is a great teacher, stable manager and has developed an incredible wealth of knowledge about her horses and the tack she sells. Georgia has several horses – a Paso Fino which she rides in the Paso Espiritu drill team, several other Paso’s earmarked for her children, and a cute halflinger which has been ‘adopted’ by her daughter, Isabella.
We are a very friendly bunch, and people come from far and wide to see us. We even have three much loved dogs who are our professional meeters and greeters – Miss Harriet, the black and white springer, her son Bertie (brown and white springer) and Zekora – the Belgian Malinois. They are all adorable and really good with adults and children alike.
So, we look forward to seeing you! We are happy to answer any questions or queries and we are always very aware that we couldn’t do this without YOU.
